Porridge Oats Scrub

During the winter the colder, drier air makes our skin extra dry- and can leave it looking and feeling a little dull. We like to help relieve tired skin with a weekly face scrub made up of all the ingredients you would usually associate with your morning porridge…
Oats are great for our complexion; they contain amino acids which help to heal and repair skin that can become damaged during winter. Banana adds a boost of essential moisturising vitamins, and honey contains antibacterial properties to help rid our skin of blemishes. Add all these together and we think it makes a pretty perfect scrub to give your skin a boost at the end of a long week.
Ingredients
½ ripe banana
½ cup of oats
1 teaspoon of honey
Method
Mash up the banana in a bowl, then simply stir in the oats and honey.
Massage onto clean skin and rub for a few minutes as you would with any exfoliator. Wash off with warm water, moisturise as normal and enjoy a fresh healthy glow.
