DIY Green Tea Face Moisturiser

We know you’ve heard it before that green tea is good for you! We all know you should drink it daily to keep us hydrated and encourage weight loss but did you know it’s good for your skin too?

The combination of Green tea, coconut oil and probiotics can all contribute to good health, but did you know we can also add these heroes to our beauty regime too? We’ve popped together this amazingly simple DIY moisturiser which will leave your skin serisuly hydrated, especially if you use our Daily Cultures green tea bags which are packed with good bacteria!

To make this facemask we’ve combined our Daily Cultures green tea with coconut oil, which is proven to moisturize without clogging pores. It’s easy to whip up a batch and make sure you let us know how you get on!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 2 Daily Cultures green tea bags (2 billion good bacteria)

Instructions

  • Heat the coconut oil in a pan to melt.
  • Open the tea bags and empty the green tea into the pan.
  • Cover and simmer on the lowest setting for an hour.
  • Using a cheesecloth strain the tea from the oil.
  • Let cool until almost solid then whip until creamy for up to 5 minutes.
